We kept hearing the same questions, from individuals and from businesses, such as:

These questions made it clear that the world didn’t just need more climate solutions, it needed climate solutions people could trust. So we created Meta Carbon, a platform designed from day one to provide radical transparency, using secure digital tracking to give every customer confidence that their climate action is real, verified, and making an impact.

We Unlock Forest Protection
Forests are one of the world’s most powerful climate solutions. They protect biodiversity, support local communities, and store enormous amounts of carbon. Yet deforestation continues at an alarming rate.
At Meta Carbon, our goal is to make it easy to support the protection of the world’s most important tropical forests. Through our online platform, people and businesses can directly fund carbon projects that prevent forest loss, helping tackle one of the leading drivers of species extinction and global CO₂ emissions.
Every project we support is rooted in the internationally recognised REDD+ model, which has guided forest-protection efforts since 2007. By connecting supporters directly with high-integrity projects, we channel climate finance to communities actively protecting forests on the ground.

We Host The Best Climate Projects Out There
We are committed to hosting only the highest-integrity nature-based carbon projects. All Meta Carbon projects must meet the strongest standards in the market. This includes:
- Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Validation and Verification
- Climate, Community, and Biodiversity Standards (CCB) at Gold Level
In addition, we prioritise projects that deliver genuine benefits for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting healthier communities, improved education, reduced inequality, and long-term sustainable growth while protecting forests that matter most.
Impacts
In total, our projects 4.5 million hectares of tropical forests, prevent 700 million tonnes of carbon emissions, and improve the livelihoods of over a million local and indigenous people. These incredible impacts are why we can back up our claim of having the best projects.
